About Us
SonShine Kids is a Christian based family childcare center. That means we pray before meals, we read Bible stories, we learn Bible verses, we listen to Christian music and Christian videos will be used. Jesus said "Let the little children come unto me..." (Matthew 19:14) His love for children was beyond measure, and we, as His children, vow to love each and every child in our care with that love.
We participate in the CACFP food program with ACD.
About Becky:
I am a licensed provider through the state of Michigan. I am certified in CPR with AED, as well as First Aid. I have worked with children since I was old enough to have the desire. I have worked in church, in schools and in daycare centers, giving 12+ years of experience. I have 4+ years of Elementary Education experience from Cornerstone University and Grand Valley State University. I am currently pursuing my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, from Ashworth College, in Georgia.
About Mark
I am 48 years old and love spending time with children of all ages. I enjoy helping Becky with teaching them and making sure the meals they get are nutritious and taste good. I have been around children my whole life. I love watching them discover things they have never seen before, and seeing the excitement in their eyes. It is a great feeling when I Listen to their voices go up with excitement as they tell their parents about what they have learned and/or discovered.

Our rates are something we prefer to discuss at a home visit or
by telephone. We do offer a sibling discount, and do our best to provide a sliding scale as well.
