SonShine Kids

Rebekah O'Reilly has taken care of my three children during January 2011 till about September 2011. She and her husband have even taken in my older two boys while my youngest was in the hospital during the summer. They both are like another set of parents for my kids. I have spent time at their house and I have never been concerned with the way Becky or Mark has talked to the kids in her care...She is a stand up person, who tries to teach the kids in her care about how God loves them and has made them special and her and Mark help the kids with homework and anything else they may need. Their whole focus is to provide kids with great care and loving support in all areas of their lives. I have had a lot of daycare providers since my oldest, which is turning 13 years old soon, and I have to say that Becky is the best I have had the pleasure to leave my kids with. ....My daughter is always either asking to go to daycare or all smiles once we get there. She enjoys playing with the other kids as well as doing all the art projects and field trips. As a single parent, if it wasn't for all the educational stuff my child has learned at daycare, there's no way she would be as smart as she is. I have known Becky O'Reilly on a personal level for about a year now. I have observed her with children both at our church and in her own home daycare. Becky has shown herself to be a nurturing caregiver who not only "watches" children, but cares enough to help them learn and grow. I have seen the kids that Becky cares for, and they all love her. They get lots of hugs and smiles. I would entrust my children to her in an instant, and I am planning on having her watch one of my little boys while i attend college classes in the fall. Becky has also given me advice that has gotten me through struggles with my own kids. When my son Josiah was potty-training, I found myself getting frustrated when he became resistant to the training. Becky offered to help me, and her advice allowed me to encourage my son positively and be less frustrated. My son is totally trained now thanks to Becky's great advice. I have known Becky, for many years. You couldn't ask for or find a better more caring, safe environment for children. She nurtures each and every one who comes through the doors of her daycare. She is an excellent provider. She is always finding fun, new activities for them to do such as arts/crafts, field trips to various places, making sure that while having fun, it is always educational. [She] makes sure no one is left out. She gears things to specific age groups and interest, making their time there as enjoyable and fulfilling, while tending to their emotional/social development and needs. Becky, I am so happy with how you introduce a subject of the bible and teach it to the children. We are Catholic..however there is one God and several Religions. Becky, Mark and Grandpa are wonderful!! I have had Nickolas since he was 4mo. My children are all grown up. It was a new world to get a new Baby. Becky has helped my so much with where to find things, where events were happening., she has helped me with clothes, Mark has taken over on playing rough with him the way I like to see (Nickolas loves it) and Grandpa spoils the kids..I lost my dad in May 2010. My daughter started at the beginning of the year 2010 and we love it there... I dont have to ask for something more than once.. In the beginning my daughter would no longer accept what I was teaching her and now going into this daycare/preschool she is doing everything. She has opened up and learns things in different ways.. I am so happy with everything. A great thing about this daycare is there is also a on site counselor. He is there to talk to a child when he/she is having a rough day or unable to manage. (In care since 2006.) Survey Comments: "You let us know everything about the children!" "You go up and beyond [with activities for the children.] When asked if her child learned basic preschool skills: "Plus some!" When asked about vacation/closed days: "You need 'your time'." Brendan has been going to your daycare for 3 1/2 years. He absolutely loves it. I would never have as much trust with any other daycare then I have with yours. You go up and beyond any I know of.
