How does Son Rays Preschool work?

Son Rays Preschool runs year round. The Preschool is for ages 2 1/2 and up. Children younger will be incorporated into the activities as appropriate. Becky will do a developmental checklist on each child to assure individual needs are being met.
A different theme will be presented for each week. We also will focus on one letter of the alphabet each week. We do not participate in Halloween, but we know that most of our families do. We will do a theme on pumpkins, fall or something similar.
Children will participate in the following activities on a daily basis:
*Circle Time: Includes stories, review of weekly letter, weather checks, and calendar activities.
*Learning Centers: Activities that encourage thought (scissors, tracing, practicing names, manipulatives)
*Bible Time: Bible stories as well as the weekly Bible verse.
*Art Time: Art activity based on the weekly theme.
*Skill Learning: Activities that assist with skills that preschoolers need to discover and learn (in and out, hot and cold etc) as well as activities that improve large and fine motor skills.
